Clinic History

In early 2004,Stephen Lordon, M.D., a physician specialist with extensive pain medicine experience at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and St. Mark’s Hospital pain clinics, identified the need for an independent pain clinic in the central Salt Lake Valley.

In April of 2004, Dr. Lordon founded Summit Pain Management, a comprehensive medical clinic focused exclusively on managing and alleviating chronic pain. Dr. Lordon and his staff are dedicated to providing a balanced approach to advanced pain management care that includes injections, medications, physical therapy, psychological evaluation, and implantable therapies. Over the years, Dr. Lordon has assembled a knowledgeable and compassionate team of pain medicine specialists and staff that focus on restoring health and improving the overall quality of life for every patient.
